Violence in School and Drug Use

Violence in school is a common attitude among children who come from unstable families. Unfortunately this attitude is also affecting the learning process and other children who are usually innocent victims of school violence. That is why, in many schools across the country, the public system has implemented a safe school program, meaning that violent and unstable children can receive free hours of therapy. Also, many schools are guarded by law enforcement agents who are always on the watch for fights and other violent activities like vandalism.

Violence has become more common in high schools since violent video games and actions movies have started to promote bad behavior as a symbol of power. Whoever is bad and does bad stuff to other people is seen with respect and feared. That is the ideal that is promoted by many movies and video games. Children who exhibit violent and devious behavior often come from broken families, have unstable parents and were not educated accordingly. They often use recreational drugs and experience many illnesses like mental disorders or physical abuse problems. Also, these children are brought up in the internet age. They can get anything online and they know how to find ways to get forbidden substances. It is not uncommon for children to mix different medications in order to create harmful substances that can severely affect their health. For example, an online pharmacy is an easy target from where troubled teenagers can acquire pills and generic Viagra for recreational use. Viagra online is a popular choice among troubled men because it can be bought at affordable prices from online sources. Not to mention that people who buy Viagra from the internet aren't questioned about their age. Safe school programs can help these kids get back to reality and start a normal and healthy life.
