School Bus Safety RegulationsSchool bus safety regulations are the responsibility of more than just the school districts. These safety regulations fall on the federal government, local school districts, and even the state governments.
Equipment on the bus should all be in working order. Stop lights as well as caution lights should all be in working order. A radio that is operating properly is also crucial in case something happens while on a route. The bus must meet all of the state required inspections for that particular vehicle. This means that buses may often times receive regular maintenance. Drivers are also required to acquire specific licenses such as a CDL before being able to drive a bus with passengers.
Keeping children safe is a number one priority to all involved. A child deserves the right to have safe transportation to and from their learning institutions. It has been and will always be up to the elders whether professional or not to make sure that it happens for the up and coming generations.
