Keeping schools safe is one of the priorities of every administrator, teacher and event parent that has been involved or has a child attending school. School is to be a safe and comfortable environment and the safe schools act otherwise known as Bill 157 have striven to do so.

Bill 157 has set up regulations for teachers or other school staff members to report to a higher authority if they are witness to something harmful to the school environment. These acts include acts that could end in suspension or expulsion. All processes must be carried out in a way to be in complete accordance with school policies that are already in place.

School is a place where a student needs to feel safe enough to let their brain expand and learn not only from the book but from the environment as well. Disagreements come up in life and learning at a young age to handle them properly can result in life long success.
