Attendees will
receive
international standardized materials and training in:

How to "enroll" educators, students, administrators and other
stakeholders into the injury reduction process

Research on how injury reduction affects test scores
-
How
to do a baseline school injury assessment for injuries and risk
factors for intentional and unintentional injuries

Identifying
scientifically based "best practice" programs

How
to do Injury Mapping and reporting
-
Identifying and Utilizing existing assets- including for data
collection and results reporting.
In the Safe
Communities Training attendees will receive standardized materials and
training in:

Creation of
cross-sectoral coalitions for Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention

Local, national
and international data on injuries, causes, and costs

Enrollment of
key stakeholders for coalitions

Baseline injury
assessments & risk/protective factors in communities

Identification
of Best Practice Programs

Identification
and Utilization of Existing Assets
The
Faulty for the day long training consists of six trainers with
combined hands on experience in International Safe Schools and
Safe Communities of 80 years. The trainers come from leading
International Safe Schools in New Zealand, Sweden and from Peaceful
Resources Center.
Trainings may be stock. In this case a date and time for an
open training is set and invitations are sent out. Costs are on a
per seat basis, and the Centre has the right to cancel should not enough
seats be sold.
Trainings may also be custom for the client. The client hires
the Centre to perform a training on a specific topic. the client
pays a non-refundable deposit, and the balance when the work is
completed.
